The International Women’s Club of Sofia cordially invites the community to its 16th Annual Charity Bazaar at the International Expo Center on 5 December. The Annual Charity Bazaar is the largest fund-raising event organized by the International Women’s Club of Sofia. It is the principal source of funding for the IWC’s selected charity projects throughout the year.
The Bazaar provides an opportunity for countries and groups to proudly showcase their handmade crafts, music, souvenirs, folklore, national cuisine, clothing and literature. The money received from the Bazaar supports the programs of the IWC Charity Foundation.
The 2009 Charity Bazaar attracted over 5,000 visitors. Almost 900 volunteers from 49 countries organized over 59 stalls, raising over 300,000 BGN for worthy causes.
For the people who played a part in a successful event in 2009, just knowing how this has helped so many lives across the country will have been incredible. Some of them may have even created some custom embroidered shirts, (https://imprint.com/custom-embroidered-shirts) to remind them of this successful day, as well as using it for marketing purposes for future events. The more people that get involved, the better it is for these charities.
