In Plovdiv, the Open Arts Foundation presents a cultural exhibition “The Street, Before” as part of the Otets Paisii Street Festival. The theme of the exhibition is sharing little known facts and history about the area, including buildings that used to stand there, such as drinking places and taverns, sports clubs, and fashion studios, as well as public transportation and other historical curiosities. A special exhibit will show off one of the inhabitants – the photographer Andrey Andreev. The creators plan to use a variety of styles and media to highlight the diversity of culture that has existed on the street.
Runs until May 31.
