The Varna Children’s Opera presents a program inspired by Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol at the Varna Opera Theatre on 17 and 21 December.
Ebenezer Scrooge is a well-known miser who loves nobody. On a Christmas Eve he is visited by the ghost of his deceased business partner Jacob Marley and three apparitions who take him on a fantastic journey to the past, present and future. Through these journeys Scrooge learns that it is not money but love that is the dearest thing in this life.
This educational story, very popular all over the world, has been adapted many times for the cinema, theater, opera, radio and TV. Now a talented Varna team brings it to life, giving their own interpretation.
Performances at 11:00 and 16:00 each day.
