I’m not sure whether I just missed it at the time or if indeed graffiti is more ubiquitous now than it was ten years ago. Today these colourful pictures seem to mark every stationary surface — and even some that move! Most graffiti are names or initials, a kind of identity seal for the artist. Occasionally graffiti is created with incredible attention to subject, what I would describe as urban art.
Here are a few graffiti examples from the centre of Sofia, near the national stadium.
